New Hope Church recognizes how important it is for each person to have a growing relationship with God. With this in mind, we put a strong emphasis on knowing God through knowing His Word. We understand that just reading the Bible is not enough, we need to relate personally to God's Word. This is accomplished through a devotional plan called "Life Journals." The goal is to read the Bible each day and to write down what God is saying to you. A second step is to meet once a week in a "Life Journal Group." These small groups allow Christian friendship and a support system based on studying the scriptures and prayer. Intimacy with God happens as you interact with His Word and apply it to your daily life. God's Word then becomes the life changing agent it was meant to be.
